Under the current December 18, 2020 Health Orders the Rink is able to be open, but in a limited capacity and under certain restrictions.
We are excited to share that the Rink Battle Creek is OPEN! While our facility and the events we are able to hold may look a little different, we hope that you continue to experience the same fun and joy you have come to while in the Rink.
Our schedule is available at therinkbattlecreek.com/schedule . While we are unable to hold traditional Open Skates, we are able to offer an Open Skate Exercise Session. This session is similar to the Open Skates you have come to love the Rink for, but limits the number of people on the ice and the player benches will be closed.
Please note that under the current Health Order we are currently limited to 34 participants per event and all participants and guest who enter the building are required to wear a mask/facial covering the duration of the time while in the Rink.
iThe RInk Battle Creek is excited to share our 2017 Community Sponsorship announcement with you. In an effort to speed up the renovations taking place at the Rink, we offer these sponsorship opportunities to our hockey community, business community and community as a whole. Any sponsorship completed by April 2017 will remain in place through the 2018/2019 season at no additional cost. At roughly 500,000 people a year coming through the facility these marketing opportunities are a bargin (not to mention the help you will be giving to us to get this done for our community now).
The Rink Battle Creek
Updated 2017 Community Sponsorship Announcement
There is a buzz in downtown Battle Creek and it is not just the sound of the Zamboni at the Rink. As you may be aware, the Rink in Downtown Battle Creek is under new ownership and is in process of rehabbing this community asset. Have you noted the changes? New exterior paint, lights in the lobby, renovated community room, new rental skates and aides, heat in the locker room and bath room…that is just for starters! With change well underway, the Rink BC is offering several ways in which you can become a sponsor of this facility, the home of the Greater Battle Creek Ice Hockey Association, The West Michigan Wolves, our local teams, roughly 500,000 people who walk through our doors a season and our community youth. All funds raised through sponsorship activities will go into assets purchased for community use (skate aids, skates) or facility updates (dehumidifier, new boards, new heat above bleachers). All Sponsorships finalized by April 2017 will remain in place through the end of the 2018/2019 season.
Lobby Sponsor - $2,000
You may have noted the new lights in the lobby. We would be thrilled to place your name or company name as the sponsor for this renovation. These lights in addition to those needed for the bathrooms and Pro-shop cost just over $2,000.
Banner Sponsor - $1,000
The Rink BC will place your three foot tall by five foot long banner behind the benches at the Rink. These banners (identical in size to the team banners in place) will highlight your logo or art as provided. These banners will be produced by the Rink BC and included in your sponsorship costs.
Zamboni Sponsor - $3,500
The Zamboni is being rewrapped and is ready for your name and logo to appear as the sole entity! Your logo will be visible on both sides of the Zamboni and the top.
Community Room Sponsor – $7,500
Your organizations name will be featured as the sole sponsor of the Community Room (Currently planned to be called the Wolves Den) for the entire season. This room will be used for all birthday parties, team parties and special events.
Locker Room Sponsor – $1,000
Your full color logo will adorn locker room one or two for the entire season (through the end of 2018/19 season). Each locker room will be called by your business name for all games, practices and events. In addition, locker room one and two are used for open skate and community events.
Personal Banner Sponsor - $125 each, limit eight per banner
The RINK BC recognizes that we have a community full of passionate Skating and Hockey supporters. We will be constructing a banner that will be located on the Business Sponsor wall specifically for our individual community sponsors. This sponsorship will allow a name or family name to be listed as a community sponsor.
Additional sponsorships such as on glass, scoreboard, skate aides and event sponsorship are available. Please email The Rink BC at email@example.com for details or to share your idea of sponsorship. You can also reach us via phone at 269-963-RINK. On behalf of The Rink BC and all those who enter our doors, we would like to thank you for your consideration of sponsorship for the 2016-2017, 2017-2018, 2018-2019 season and BEYOND.
